Scott Warren: Rainbow Carnage

Artist’s Notes: 
I use the photography medium as a literal means of escape/escapism. I take close up shots of otherwise mundane things in order to create abstraction. By making and indulging in this abstraction, I escape my own mundane reality. This photography style of mine was partially born from my belief that the universe is full of chaos. Thus I create chaotic abstractions/mock landscapes that draw similarities to dreams/surrealism and insanity/Dadaism.

I made this setup using paint, a handmade prism and the insides of a rice crispy treat.
