Artist’s statement: In ‘Keep Searching’, I captured one of my friends observing snails and other oceanic discoveries among rocks. While out with a few friends in New England, we decided to stop by the Cape Cod canal (MA) and walk along the water’s edge. My friend was determined to search for snails and crabs, even though she had to struggle to get among the rocks where these creature lay. To me, this image shows the essence of exploration and discovering new things. It shows true curiosity and a will to continue searching for what we are looking for even when we are surrounded by hindrances.
